In some recreational divisions, a World Series is played after the end of the regular season. Players are selected to participate at the coaches’ discretion and based on player availability. Coaches are asked to choose players based on criteria exhibited during the season including: effort, attendance, attitude, and ability. World Series play takes place over a two week period: one week for practice, and one week of game play. The winner is determined by best out of five games. Games are called by official umpires. A player may not participate on both a World Series Team and an All-Star Team.
